Sponsorship and Affiliate Policy
Trip Plan Clear is free to use. We plan to pay for it with display ads and, in a few places, affiliate links. These rules apply to all of it.
What never changes for money
- What a rule says, who needs an authorization, the official fee, or the official link. Rules come only from official sources.
- The result of the trip check. It is computed from our rules table; no partner can change it.
- We never accept money from, or link as a partner to, companies that charge to submit visa or travel-authorization applications. We link only to the official application sites, which are the cheapest way to apply.
Affiliate links
- Only where they are naturally useful for a trip (for example, an eSIM for mobile data abroad, travel insurance, or an International Driving Permit), and never inside the official rules themselves.
- Every affiliate link is labeled “Affiliate link” right next to it. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- If something is optional (for example, travel insurance for a visa-free visit to the Schengen area), we say it is optional. We never suggest a product is required when it isn’t.
At the moment there are no affiliate links on the site. Any we add will follow these rules and be listed on the changes page.
Sponsorship
We don’t publish sponsored articles or paid placements in our guides.
