How to apply
- Apply on Vietnam’s Immigration Department portal, evisa.gov.vn (also reachable as thithucdientu.gov.vn).

- Pay the fee online. It is not refunded if the e-visa is refused.
If you’re only changing planes
Connecting from an international flight to a domestic flight in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City means going through immigration, so you need a visa or visa exemption even if your final destination is abroad (GOV.UK). We could not confirm the rule for purely international connections from an official page.
